THE NEXT MEETING OF CHAPEN EN LE FRITH PARISH COUNCIL WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER AT 7PM IN THE TOWN HALL ANNEXE

MEMBERS OF THE PRESS & PUBLIC ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND

The business to be transacted will be as follows:

27/278    To receive any apologies for absence

27/279    To make any Declarations of Interest

27/280    To consider any applications for Dispensations

27/281    To consider any Police matters (if police officers attend)

27/282    Public Participation – up to 10 minutes will be made available for members of the public to raise matters relevant to the business of the Parish Council:

(a)  Members of the general public

(b)  County and Borough councillors

27/283    Update from Chief Inspector Anna Woodhouse, Communities Manager, on the changes taking place within Neighbourhood Policing, and how these changes may affect Chapel-en-le-Frith

27/284    To determine which items, if any, from the agenda should be taken with the public excluded. If the Parish Council decides to exclude the public, it will be necessary to pass a resolution in the following terms: “to consider a resolution under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings Act 1960) s1 to exclude members    of the press and public in order to discuss item number ...”   This item will then be discussed with the press and public excluded'

27/285    To agree any variations of order of business

27/286                    To approve the minutes of the Monthly Council meeting held on 11^th August

27/287                    To receive the Chair’s Report

27/288                    Finance:

a)    To approve the schedule of accounts presented for payment  

b)    To note the actual year-to-date income and expenditure against budget

To receive updates on Actions from previous Minutes or deferred items

27/009 Peak Cluster proposal – update           

27/107 New Parish Council Website and Online Booking System

27/232 Election of Vice Chair for the remaining 2026/2027 year

27/246 Motion from Planning Committee - The committee proposed a motion to the Full Council to consider engaging a Neighbourhood Planning Consultant, once the amendments to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) have been published by the Government to aid with decision making regarding the future viability of the Parish having a Neighbourhood Plan

Prior to the publishing of the NPPF the Council undertakes to begin drafting amendments to its existing Neighbourhood plan and undertake consultations with parishioners

27/247 To adopt the Terms of Reference of the Planning Committee

27/253 Motion from Cllr Hill  - That this council approves the valuation and sale of the MUGA frame removed from the Memorial Park and all proceeds be provided to the Friends of the Memorial Park to acquire and implement the new MUGA. The Proceeds will only be used to for the procurement of the new MUGA and no ancillary activities around the new MUGA project

27/289 Prior to the publishing of the NPPF the Council undertakes to begin drafting amendments to its existing Neighbourhood plan and undertake consultations with parishioners

27/290 To consider a request from County Council George that the Parish Council support an application to DCC for Combs village to be a 20mph zone under their new policy.

27/291 Motion from Cllr Melissa Drabble - That the Parish Council proceeds with a planning application for new play equipment at Dove Holes Park, using the available S106 funding, and serves the necessary notice on the landowner as part of the application.
