ORDER TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 124 (PART)
CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH
WHEN: 16th December 2024 to 1st February 2025.
WHERE: Close Footpath No.124 Chapel-en-le-Frith from Charley Lane for approximately 460m, to where it meets Footpath No.140. REASON: To facilitate public safety whilst a new pipeline and footbridge are installed into the treatment works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the North of the closure take Footpath No.140. When it joins Footpath No.137 follow the Southeast part of the path which leads to Charley Lane. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath.
The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.
