The Council are asking residents to make nominations for individuals or groups that they think have made a difference in the local community and deserve an award.

The community award is designed to recognise people from the Parish of Chapel-en-le-Frith (Bagshaw, Combs, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Dove Holes, Sparrowpit, Tunstead Milton and Whitehough) who have contributed or excelled in one of the following ways

Volunteer Work or Fundraising

Every day many individuals across our community give their time to assist others who are in need, they selflessly work to make the lives of others better in some way.

Academic, Sporting, Musical or Artistic Achievement

For individuals or groups who have had success at District, County or National Level raising the profile of the Area with their achievements.

Improving and Generating Community Spirit

Individuals or groups who organise or run community projects or events that bring people together.

The nomination forms can be downloaded below and completed forms should be returned to the Council by 1 August 2022.
