ON TUESDAY 7TH APRIL AT 7PM IN THE TOWN HALL
MEMBERS OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND

The business to be transacted will be as follows:
27/1. 7pm - To receive any apologies for absence
27/2. To make any Declarations of Interest
27/3. To consider any applications for Dispensations
27/4. To determine which items, if any, from the agenda should be taken with the public excluded. If the Parish Council decides to exclude the public, it will be necessary to pass a resolution in the following terms: “to consider a resolution under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings Act 1960) s1 to exclude members of the press and public in order to discuss item number ...” This item will then be discussed with the press and public excluded.'
27/5. 7.05pm - To agree any variations of order of business
27/6. 7.07pm - (if police officers attend) To consider any Police matters
27/7. 7.12pm - Public Participation – up to 10 minutes will be made available for members of the public to raise matters relevant to the business of the Parish Council:
a. Members of the general public
b. County and Borough councillors
27/8. 7.22pm - Motion from Councillor Mike Chantler to provide seed funding from the Parish Council for the implementation of joint working with Chapel High School/Local Businesses in the High Peak and Cheshire East areas.
27/9. 7.52pm To receive an update from Councillor Ruth George following the Peak Cluster consultation drop-in and public meeting to be held at Whaley Bridge Bowling Club on 17th March.
27/10. 8.05pm - To approve the minutes of the Full Council meetings held on 3rd March 2026.
27/11. 8.07pm - Proposal from Councillor Jason Adshead that minute 26/407 from the 10th February be amended to include ‘Councillors recognised Cllr Dales efforts with the planning appeal and wanted it acknowledged for his sterling efforts.’
27/12. 8.10pm - Proposal from Councillor Michaela Daniels that the minute from the member of public, who asked a question at the 10th February meeting, be amended to include the following, as this had specifically been requested by the questioner.

27/19. To authorise the schedule of accounts presented for payment
27/20. To note the actual year-to-date income and expenditure against budget
27/21. 8.45pm - To consider the Parish Council’s arrangement with the Leisure Centre as c£8,000pa is paid, but no support was given when they were approached regarding the temporary use of an all weather pitch.’
27/22. 8.45pm - That Chapel-en-le-Frith Parish Council undertakes a full review of the current staff pension arrangements, including contribution levels, compliance with statutory requirements, cost implications, and any recommendations for improvement. If the review is to be led by the Finance & Personnel Committees, with a report brought back to Full Council for consideration and decision.”
27/23. 8.50pm - Motion from Councillor Melissa Drabble that S106 money received in respect of the Meadows Housing Estate be spent on installing a zip wire and other items at Dove Holes playground.
27/24. 9.00pm – To confirm that the Parish Council is happy to accept the S106 funds in relation to agenda item 20 above and sign the proforma.
27/25. 9.03pm - To consider date and time for the Annual Parish Meeting.
27/26. 9.10pm - Motion from the Chair that Councillors consider the order of priority for motions which have not yet been placed as agenda items.
27/27. 9.15pm To confirm the date of the next Parish Council meeting.
