EMERGENCY

TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE

PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 102 (PART) CHINLEY & PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.170 CHAPEL EN LE FRITH

WHEN: 25th February to 18th March 2025

WHERE: Close footpath No.102 for approximately 130 meters from where it meets footpath No.170. Close the whole of footpath no.170.

REASON: To facilitate public safety during gas mains replacement works.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: No Alternative Route Is Recommended.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
