Remembrance Sunday and Beacon Lighting
This year the Royal British Legion are commemorating 100 years of he end of The First World War.
The Remembrance Service and Parade will take place in Chapel-en-le-Frith on Sunday 11th November 2018.
The Parade will assemble at the Scout Hut on Thornbrook Road at 9.30am and march to St Thomas Becket Parish Church for a service at 10.15am, followed by 2 minutes silence and wreath laying at the War Memorial on the Market Place at 11am.
In Dove Holes there will be a service at St Pauls Parish Church at 3pm on Sunday 11 November 2018 followed by the laying of wreaths at the War Memorial in Dove Holes.

The Council with help from the Kinder Mountain Rescue Team will be organising the lighting of a beacon on Eccles Pike at 7pm on 11th November 2018.
