Chapel United Charities
Chapel-en-le-Frith United Charities and the Bowden Head Educational Foundation are able to make grants to groups or individuals in the Parish of Chapel-en-le-Frith. People who require support for educational training or have specific needs with reference to health, disability or changing economic circumstances may well be eligible for a grant.
Councillor Mrs Hilary Batterbee, Chairman of the Trustees of the United Charities, said, ‘We would like to encourage more applications from groups and individuals who live in the parish as money is available to help those in need. For example, the charity has been able to supply equipment for disabled children and adults, give financial assistance for the purchase of school uniform, books and equipment and to contribute to the cost of educational trips.’
Application forms and further information is available from the Parish Office in the Town Hall, Market Street, Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Peak, SK23 0HP
